The Russian army launched an attack on Ukraine. The fog of war is still thick, but it is known that a number of cities were attacked from the air and Russian ground forces infiltrated Ukrainian territory on several fronts. This is a dramatic and exceptional situation.

A humanitarian crisis is now unfolding in Ukraine affecting the 200,000 members of the Ukrainian Jewish community. The entire country faces chaos, scarcity and political violence, and members of Ukraine’s Jewish community are especially vulnerable. Serious security threats—like the potential for looting or violence—now loom over Ukrainian Jewish institutions.

Please DONATE TODAY. Our support will enable the Jewish Distribution Committee and the Jewish Agency to provide all the support and assistance needed during these difficult times.
