Rooted in thousands of years of Jewish tradition, the United Jewish Appeal (UJA) campaign is our community’s central collective giving initiative. Together with our network of agencies and partners, we strengthen our community, ensuring that Jewish life thrives today, tomorrow, and for years to come--work that is made possible by our generous donors.

Your UJA gift helps across the full spectrum of needs, from countering antisemitism to ensuring seniors can connect and stay engaged with community life to guaranteeing a strong future by sending kids to Jewish school and camp. Together with our partners, we address the wide range of needs across our community—because when a family requires support from one organization, they often need help from many. Through the UJA, we provide stable, predictable funding to fund programs and services delivered by our agencies and strengthen Jewish community life for everyone.

In Israel, we support residents of our partnership region of the Upper Galilee, an area bordered by Lebanon and Syria, where the local population faces complex socio-economic challenges. As part of the Coast-to-Coast network of communities, we invest in programs and services that uplift the region and its entire population.

In Jewish communities facing hardship globally, we help through our trusted international partner, the Joint Distribution Committee (JDC). The JDC also leads the Jewish response to global non-sectarian humanitarian needs, enabling us to do our part to make the world a better place for all humanity.
