Protecting our community
When antisemitism rises, so do security needs, and Jewish Federation responds.
We hired a community security director who monitors our threat environment, supports events, ensures preventative measures are in place, and more.
The costs of security are high and we are generating critical funding, which will be matched and doubled, to support security personnel needs at Jewish programs serving children.

Making our Jewish voices heard
Through our advocacy agent, the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA) we amplify our collective voice on important issues and mobilize our community.
Our new regional director of advocacy is meeting with elected officials about protective policies that counter antisemitism online and in the real world.
We are also forging alliances with diverse minorities who share our values to counter hate and advance shared goals together.
