Michael Solomonov is the Executive Chef and Co-owner of Zahav, the 2019 James Beard Foundation award winner for Outstanding Restaurant, the first Israeli restaurant to ever win the award. Solomonov was named James Beard Foundation Outstanding Chef in 2017, as well as winning four other James Beard awards. Food & Wine recognized Zahav as one of the “40 Most Important Restaurants of the Past 40 Years”.
