Dear community members,

I am both humbled and honoured to have accepted the position of Associate Director of Community Security at UJA Federation of Greater Toronto. After six years at Jewish Federation of Edmonton, I am taking on a bigger and more challenging role.

This news is of course bittersweet. Over the last six years I have grown to care deeply about our community, and value my relationships with each of you. Being able to build and contribute to enhancing the safety and security of our community has given me immense pleasure. While leaving something I have worked so hard to build is difficult, I cannot help but look at what I have accomplished and smile with pride. I see a community that despite the many challenges we face, is strong and increasingly resilient. I have absolute faith that our leadership will continue to help us stay on our positive trajectory. 

While I am sad to leave this position and Edmonton, I am happy that I get to continue on with my commitment to the security and safety of the Jewish community. The relationships we have built over the years do not disappear with my change in role, and I hope to remain in contact with all those that wish to do so.

I want to thank you for welcoming me and my family into the community, and for working with me over the last several years. These are memories and friendships I will cherish for a lifetime. I also want to thank the leadership for believing in me, I could not have done what I have done without your support.
