We are excited to share the first Jewish Federation of Edmonton impact report with you.
This impact report is more than a reflection—it’s a testament to what we can achieve together. It's your generosity, your voice, and your belief in the power of collective action that make this work possible. Thank you for being our partner in building a Jewish Edmonton that is strong, proud, and prepared for the future.
I want to take a moment to thank our board and many volunteers who prioritize our community and do so from their hearts. Our United Jewish Appeal (UJA) donors, who continue to trust us with their philanthropy, and our grantors and funders, who value the projects and programs that benefit our community, make this work possible.
I continuously hear the phrase that “we punch way above our weight”—meaning that for a small community and small staff team, we are delivering on strategic objectives far more than imagined. It has been a challenging year to work in the Jewish communal space, and I want to thank my staff and all our community agencies for their efforts this year. It does not go unnoticed.
As the central community organization, we address and lead on community concerns and strive to keep us connected to one another and the Jewish people. Our purpose is apparent: to care for the vulnerable, build connections, and create a vibrant Jewish future.
In the year ahead we will continue to grow and stabilize UJA campaign and endowment funds, counter antisemitism through strengthening security and advocacy, build the new JCC as our hub for culture and belonging, deepen peoplehood through engaging programs and signature cultural events and expand partnerships with Israel, national Federations, and interfaith allies.
Thank you for building a vibrant Jewish future with us.
Shabbat Shalom,
Stacey
