We are very pleased to share the Alberta government has announced $1 million in capital funding for the new Jewish Community Centre (JCC). The grant was made possible through the Community Facility Enhancement Program, and we extend deep appreciation to Minister of Arts, Culture and Status of Women Tanya Fir and the Government of Alberta for this support for our community. Jewish Edmonton contributes to the province’s social fabric, and we commit to creating a welcoming space for all Albertans.
The JCC project ensures today’s generation and generations to come have a gathering space open to all. This is an exciting moment for our community and this grant demonstrates how the province is confident in the future of Jewish Edmonton.
With your generous support, we can attain a robust 19,200 square foot facility and establish an endowment to ensure operational funding. Let’s build Jewish Edmonton together through the new JCC.
