Edmonton Jewish Film Festival

About the film festival

Since its inception, the Edmonton Jewish Film Festival (EJFF) has been a cornerstone of cultural life in our community—bringing people together through the power of film to explore the richness, complexity, and vibrancy of Jewish and Israeli life.

In 2026, we proudly celebrate 30 years of showcasing the finest in Jewish cinema. From award-winning international features and compelling documentaries to bold new voices and unforgettable shorts, our highly curated lineup reflects the diversity of Jewish experiences around the world.

Presented by the Jewish Federation of Edmonton, the EJFF is more than a film festival—it’s a celebration of identity, resilience, and creativity. Whether you join us in person or online, you’ll experience stories that entertain, challenge, and inspire.

Join us for this milestone year as we honour three decades of exceptional storytelling and community connection. Stay tuned for special events, guest speakers, and a film program that promises to be our most exciting yet.

Our sponsors

Proceeds from the EJFF are the primary source of funding for Partnership 2Gether (P2G), The Jewish Federation of Edmonton’s bridge-building partnership with the communities of the Galilee panhandle in Northern Israel.
