YES KOSHER FRIENDSHIP came about as a response to the COVID pandemic and has received charitable status in 2023.

YES KOSHER FRIENDSHIP is an non-profit organization that believes that every person has and deserves a second chance. That every person should be able to get the help and resources that they need during hard times. 

YES KOSHER FRIENDSHIP operates out of various locations throughout Alberta with Edmonton being its main location.

Provides:

• Prayer and Kosher educational workshops
• Annual Art and Story exhibits displaying the Holocaust before and now 
• Hebrew reading tutoring for ages three and up
• Stewards in Kosher food hampers, and deliveries for low income individuals and newcomers
• Wedding gowns for brides on low income. Children's clothing for newcomer
• For singles and pregnant who need to talk and find resources
• Single seniors transportation to Jewish Sunday monthly events 
• Phone call in support.
• Hiring and training for part-time job positions
• Health and wellness seminar
• Yearly raffle 
• Volunteer hub
• Bake a thon
• Singles events
• Board game Kosher Coffee Shop (In the works. Coming soon)
• Support and partners with other organizations with similar mandate
