Founded during the COVID-19 pandemic and dedicated in memory of a child lost too soon, YES KOSHER FRIENDSHIP was created to bring dignity, care, and connection to individuals and families facing hardship. As a federally incorporated nonprofit operating extra-provincially, with its head office in Edmonton, the organization delivers no-cost and low-cost programs that help people access support, build resilience, and remain connected.

Provides:

• Kosher food hampers distributed throughout citywide public locations
• Art, culture, and heritage recreational mitzvah workshops
• Telephone-based check-ins and peer connection
• Volunteer coordination and community engagement opportunities
• Year-round temporary paid work experiences
• Fundraising raffles
