Chabad of Edmonton is part of over 6,500 Chabad Shluchim-Emissary worldwide, operating over 3,500 centers - called Chabad Houses, including over 150 centers in Israel.  

The Chabad acronym stands for:

Chochmah - wisdom

Binah - understanding

Da'at - knowledge

Chabad of Edmonton is an educational organization dedicated to helping every Jew, regardless of their background, affiliation, or personal level of observance, to increase their level of Jewish knowledge, enthusiasm, and commitment.

With a blessing recieved from the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, Rabbi Ari and Rebbetzin Rifka Drelich were brought out by Rabbi and Mrs Matusof to Edmonton.    

All of Chabads classes, programs, and services are designed to heighten the awareness and lend valuable insight into ones heritage, traditions, religious practice, laws and rituals.  Each individual is invited to participate, study, and learn.

In addition Chabad has no membership fees. All funds donated to Chabad of Edmonton remain right here in our Edmonton community.

Chabad  of Edmonton is here to ensure a continued future for today and tomorrow by holding onto its Halachic Torah values through its innovative programming.
