BAGEL LOOP: WALK, RUN, ROLL - The unique event of its kind in Canada.

Edmonton seniors will gear up their canes, walkers and wheelchairs to Walk, Run & Roll around Victoria Park at the third annual, only event of its’ kind: the Bagel Loop.
It is a unique fundraiser put on BY Seniors FOR Seniors and their Families in support of the Jewish Senior Citizen’s Centre. The Jewish Senior Citizen’s Centre is a downtown welcoming place that has been serving the Edmonton community for 70 years. Established by the Jewish community, the Centre serves seniors from all backgrounds and denominations.
We have delicious lunches, lectures, one-of-a-kind learning programs and cultural excursions. We offer something for everyone!
We also have a Sunday Club for Holocaust survivors where people eat delicious lunch, have a wonderful programs and celebrate their cultures. We are in the battle to combat Senior Isolation and our mandate is NO ONE EATS ALONE.
In 2019 our oldest participant was 94 (he is participating again this year) and the youngest one was one year old.
Please lace up your sneakers, oil your walkers, grab your canes and join us 10 a.m. in Victoria Park on Sunday, July 9 for warm up exercises and to Walk, Run and Roll for a cause!
There is a family picnic included afterwards at 12 p.m.
