For 2 months Donna Hamar volunteered at Khar School in Mumbai, India. This is a school for children of the slums as their families cannot afford the uniform, fees, books and transportation to access the "free" public system. The presentation is a combination of slides and narrative - a story of hope, camaraderie, sadness and joy. Also, a glimpse of this massive (21+ million), historic and modern, city of extreme wealth and abject poverty.
