In Partnership with Beth Shalom's Women's League and Adult Education Committee the Jewish Archives and Historical Society will present a 35 minute professionally made film,entitled, "From Pedlars to Patriarchs". The film depicts the early years of Jewish Life in Edmonton beginning with its first Jewish citizen, Abraham Cristall, who arrived in 1893. In addition, there will be two ten minute talks commenting on other contributions made by Edmonton Jewish pioneers. At Beth Shalom Synagogue (11916 Jasper Ave.).
