Beth Tzedek Congregation is pleased to announce the resumption of its Movie/Lecture series on Sunday, May 5th. This year's first offering will be "Shanghai Ghetto", an award-winning documentary that chronicles the flight of persecuted Jews fleeing from Nazi Europe to this unique Far-East "port in the storm". It is a moving and compelling film. Our guest speaker will be Dr. Nina Paulovicova, a professor of history at the University of Alberta whose area of speciality is the Haulocast. The event will be held at Talmud Torah from 1:00 to 4:00 pm on the Sunday. It is open to the entire community and free of charge, Refreshments will be made available.
