Beth Shalom Medical Series invites you to join us for the presenation of "Mental Health, Stroke, & Depression in the Elderly" with Dr. Leon Kagan.

On Saturday, January 28th following Kiddush lunch.

Dr. Leon Kagan is a Psychiatrist and a Clinical Professor at the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry at the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Alberta.

Dr. Kagan will talk about common mental health conditions in the elderly including dementia and depression. Who is at most risk for these conditions and how they present? He will conclude with a review of treatments for these conditions and what one might be able to do to prevent them.
