Join us for a conversation with internationally recognized Jewish educator and author Ben M. Freeman on Jewish Indigeneity. As part of his book tour for The Jews: An Indigenous People, Freeman will explore the deep-rooted connection between Jewish identity and indigeneity to Israel, situating this understanding within the context of Alberta’s Jewish diaspora.
The talk will address how recognizing Jewish indigeneity can help combat antisemitism, foster cultural resilience, and build empathy across diverse communities. This event is open the general public.
