Thursdays, October 7 — November 11, 2021
Imagine this place we call Edmonton 14 000 years ago. Imagine a post-glacial landscape, and how it has changed over time to the present day. What might this place look like into the future?
This lecture series will explore the themes of place and space as we navigate the ever changing geography of Edmonton. Using Edmonton as a case study, specific topics will include the post glacial history of Edmonton, maps and how they lie, place names, place attachment, and urban planning.
