The Jewish Archives and Historical Society of Edmonton will be showcasing the history and traditions of Jewish weddings at the Open Door event. The focus will be on the symbols and traditions involved. There will be displays including a Chuppah (the canopy beneath which Jewish marriages are performed) and a Ketubah (a Jewish marriage contract), etc. All are welcome.
