The Jewish Community of Edmonton has the opportunity to share our community experiences with hate crimes with the Alberta Hate Crimes Committee. It is an important chance to have our voices heard and help stop hate directed at our community. This research is being conducted by the Alberta Hate Crimes Committee (AHCC) and the Organization for the Prevention of Violence (POV) and funded by the Province of Alberta. The purpose of the research is to evaluate the scope and impact of hate-motivated crimes and incidents in Alberta. We are asking any community members who are willing to share their experiences of hate and bias in Alberta to attend.
